Welcome.
Please enjoy your scroll through our current inventory of what gives new meaning to the term, “statement necklaces”! If you find something you can’t live without or, if you find a necklace with stones that support your spiritual and metaphysical needs, just click on the thumbnail picture of the necklace you like to get that necklace’s number, then email me with your contact information and the number of “your” necklace. I’ll get back to you quickly with pricing and a couple of questions about how you plan to wear your necklace so we’re sure we have the length right. Once that’s settled, you can pay with either a credit card or Pay Pal, then I’ll tuck your necklace in a protective jewelry roll with a written list of its stones, package it up securely for shipping, and send it off to you via 2nd day air. Once it arrives, be prepared to be the center of attention every time, and every way, you wear your Stone-Hearted Woman necklace!
1. Petite Aquamarine, Amazonite & Pearl
This is the sort of necklace you’ll see at the Academy Awards. It looks like fine jewelry so you can wear it to a Black Tie event, but it’s also wonderful with a tee shirt. I like the aquamarine and pearl combination so much that I’ve done several of these necklaces. They’re all a little different and all unique, but you might want to compare all of them under the 2nd option in “Shopping Options” to make sure you’re ordering your favorite. This is the smallest of the aquamarine necklaces currently available.

4. Stilbite, Fossil Coral & Ammonites
There’ll never be another necklace like this. The centerpiece stone that looks like a cross is a lovely, un-duplicatable stone I was thrilled to find at a big gem show. The lacy white stone next to it is a rare fossil coral. This is a necklace that will truly “light up” your face. You’ll love it!

10. Septarian, Red Lace Agate & Quartz
Of all the earth-toned necklaces I’ve made to date, this is biggest and boldest. The jumbo quartz centerpiece is just fabulous and so is the slightly hard to see (in the photo) red lace agate. If you’ve had your colors done and you’re an “Autumn”, this necklace will soon be your most treasured possession. And, if your name happens to start with a “B”, all the better!

12. Calcite, Zebra Rock & Grossular Garnet
A big, bold necklace that’s long on graphic appeal. The swirl of the big, white-ribbed ammonite and the statement stripes of the Picture Jasper and the seldom-seen Australian Zebra Rock combine with the assorted crystals to create a necklace that few will forget.

13. Faden Quartz, Aquamarine & Amazonite
Compare this necklace to any of the important jewelry advertised in magazines like “Town and Country”, and you’ll find that Mother Nature’s “jewels” hold up with the best of them. This is biggest of the three true Aquamarine necklaces and literally looks like a million dollars!

14. Petite Adamite, Turquoise & Ammonites
This necklace has smaller, lighter stones than most of the others, so it can be worn a little longer if you prefer that look. Should you prefer a choker, it can easily be shortened to whatever your preference. A great choice if you love Fall colors, but are on the petite side.

15. Mimetite, Quartz & Epidote
Another true statement piece, this beauty would look spectacularly impactful on a tall, cool blonde or a redhead decked out in her Fall colors. That said, this necklace is more of a chameleon than it looks. Those dark green Epidote stones make it work well with black, and the two bone pieces and tan in the Mimetite center-stone make it really turn on anything in the camel family.

16. Wedding Quartz & Pearls
As wedding dresses get barer, unforgettably beautiful jewelry becomes ever more important. This one of a kind, “there’ll never be another exactly like it” necklace of assorted quartzes and the exquisitely eccentric Twig Pearls is something no other bride but you can have. Simple and beautiful..and something you’ll definitely want to have and to hold onto. Plus, metaphysically, these beautiful quartzes are said to exude an energy that opens the mind and amplifies the intentions spoken during your wedding vows.

17. Datolite, Apophyllite & Aquamarine
This is a necklace with amazing personality. I’d done a couple of the Aquamarine necklaces and was thrilled with them, but I had a few good Aquamarines leftover–not to mention this strangely wonderful green center stone and the funny little green and white cotton ball stone. I smiled as I put them all together and they turned into what I think is one of the prettiest necklaces I’ve made. Perfect for almost every color type!

18. Jade, Prehnite & Epidote
I’ll be frank. I think this hunter green beauty looks a tad cold in photographs. Now this came as a surprise when I photographed it because it was one of the necklaces that “just worked” when I was making it and when I tried it on. Trust me, it really warms up on the neck. Just pair it with something substantial in green, black, or camel, and you’ll make real fashion news!

19. Red Jasper, Obsidian & Vanadinite
If you’re into contrast and texture, this is the necklace for you. The polished Red Jasper and Obsidian seem to me like a perfect pairing with the warm, crusty Vanadinite. And that big, dark, “monogramed with a B” Septarian center-stone? Just the thing to focus the eye and invite rave reviews.
Stone List
- Obsidian (California)
- Heterogonite (Nevada)

20. Rose Quartz, Gypsum var. Selenite & Tourmaline
It seems very odd to call a necklace this big and beautiful “demure”, but somehow that’s the image I always get when I look at it. I can just picture a pretty girl in a cream silk shirt and beautifully tailored grey pants–or skirt– wearing this necklace and smiling sweetly as every man in the room heads her way. Really special!
Stone List

21. Stilbite, Gypsum & Amber
Stilbite, the big, “California-shaped” center-stone is one of my favorites. It comes from India and has a pearly, skin-toned color I’m crazy about. There’s lots of amber in this necklace, too, to keep it lightweight. Add a crystal for sparkle and an ammonite or two for graphic interest. Altogether, this is a sturdy, fun necklace people will stop you on the street to ask about.
Stone List
- Petrified Wood
- Jasper
- Ammonite (Madagascar)
- Amber
- Stilbite (India)
- Amber
- Gypsum (British Columbia)
- Ammonite (Madagascar)
- Petrified Wood
- Agate
23. Gypsum, Copal & Jasper
The center-stone piece of Gypsum in this necklace is much more interesting in person than it is in a photograph. It has a lovely flat, irregular shape with plenty of crusty interest, and the whole top half has Gypsum’s wonderful reflective quality. You’ll also find two kinds of amber: a couple pieces of Copal–one of the immature stages real Amber passes through on its journey from resin–to the beautiful, tortoise-colored piece of mature amber in this rich, warm necklace.
Stone List
- Ammonite (Madagascar)
- Petrified Wood
- Ammonite (Madagascar)
- Copal (Colombia)
- Orange Calcite (Mexico)
- Gypsum var. Selenite (Arizona)
- Jasper
- Amber
- Copal

24. Aquamarine, Apatite & Fuschite
This may have been the hardest necklace to design that I’ve done. Every single stone was so strong that it was all tough to balance. Now that’s it’s finished, it may be my favorite piece. I love how the Apatite center-stone and the other “teal” stones are all highlighted with camel; it makes this necklace so much more than just a pretty pastel. And, while you can just barely see it in the photo, the third stone from the top right is a glorious big piece of aquamarine that I could barely afford, but just couldn’t pass up. So…lucky whoever gets this fabulous necklace!

25. Ammonites for Americans and the 4th of July
The matching ammonites from Madagascar are real and millions of years old. The stars and red beads are my personal salute to the grand old U.S.A. You can wear this one for America OR for the 4th of July.
Stone List
- White-Ribbed Ammonites (5) (Madagascar)
- Faux Stars and Red Beads
26. Amethyst, Lepidolite & Fairy Wand
When I first started making these necklaces, I looked hard for Amethyst small enough and thin enough and lustrous enough to use. It was incredibly hard to find. Then one day I just happened to be in the right place at the right time, and oh joy!, I found these ten or fifteen kinds of assorted Amethyst as well the gorgeous center-stone variety called Fairy Wand. Truly one of a kind for some very lucky Amethyst lover.

28. Texas II: Quartz, Ammonites & Vanadinite

30. Angelite, Fluorite & Blue Lace Jasper
I’d already made a “Blues” necklace (see necklace #8) when I came across this blue and white center-stone that was so wonderful, I decided that I was meant to make TWO blue and cream necklaces. So, voila! This one is just slightly more casual than #8, but equally addictive and apparently, equally popular with men. “Oh, I like that one,” they all say when asked to peruse my necklaces and tell me what they think.
Stone List
- Blue Lace Jasper

32. Obsidian, Sphalerite & Dactylioceras
This is the second of three “black and white” necklace options. (#5 and #37 are your other two choices.) I’m crazy about the feminine, lacy effect the black center stone frothing with white crystals creates. Add the strange Dactylioceras fossil from Yorkshire, a Megladon shark’s tooth, a Pyrite sand dollar, and some pretty chalcedonies and flourites and you have about the prettiest, most unique necklace around!
Stone List
- Dalmation

34. Sea Biscuit, Solaris Quartz & Ammonites
This is a blonde version of the big earth tone necklaces. It features a wonderful fossil called a Sea Biscuit (sort of a golden, puffed-up sand dollar) plus a big hunk of Solaris Quartz for good luck and a couple of ammonites including one gone all smooth and blurry with age. Just the necklace for a beautiful blonde in a camel cashmere.
Stone List

- Petrified Stone (Arizona)
- Sea Biscuit (Madagascar)
- Petrified Rock
- White Ammonite (Madagascar)
- Solaris Quartz
- Barite (California)
- Ammonite (Madagascar)
- Petrified Wood (Arizona)
35. Obsidian, Petrified Stone & Ammonites
In my mind, I call this my black and vicuna necklace. The coloration of its stones are rich and dark, but a couple of uniquely textured cream fossils really light it up and make it an amazing choice worn with black. I don’t see it worn much in the summertime, but come fall and winter, it’s a real standout!
Stone List

- White Ammonite (Madagascar)

- Aged White Ammonite (Madagascar)

36. Stilbite, Zeolite & Bone Beads
Peaches and cream perfection! I think you’ll absolutely love Stilbite. It’s peachy complexion is somewhat pearlized making it about the most feminine, “light up your face” stone on the planet (in my opinion!) Rather than overdo a good thing, I combined the big Stilbite center stone with just a few other pearly companions, then ended this pretty peach necklace with some lovely cream bone beads from Africa.

37. Alabandite, Beach Coral & Calcite Pseudomorph
The last of the black and white necklaces currently available (the others are #5 and #32), this more casual beauty is strung with a splendid diversity of textures and oddities. Gutsy black Alabandite from Peru, a strongly vesseled ammonite, and a pretty chalcedony all lend their charms to a necklace you’ll be asked about every wearing.
Stone List
- Calcite Pseudomorph (Arizona)
- Obsidian (California)
- Chalcedony (Brazil)
- Alabandite on Sphalerite (Peru)
- Beach Coral (Hawaii)
- Obsidian (California)

39. Adamite, Wavelite & Bone Beads
I’m over the moon for this one. I’ve had these five glittery and beautiful green stones for several months and just couldn’t find anymore stones I liked enough to use to complete this crusty green treasure. So, when I found the simple bone beads, I decided I’d let my five favorites (and a twig pearl) highlight this yummy necklace and allow the bone beads to fade into the background and finish it off. One word of advise: the green color of the front stones was REALLY tough to photograph. If you’re not dazzled by the photo, but green’s your thing, do contact me so we can work out a way for you to see this necklace in person–it’s fabulous!!!!
Stone List

- Adamite (Mexico)
- Twig Pearl
- Apatite on Matrix (Mexico)
- Mica (Russia)
- Green Mica
- Wavelite
- Bone Beads (Africa)
40. Citrines & Sand Dollars
This was an interesting necklace to put together. The sparkly Citrines were obviously perfect with the the soft, bisque sand dollars, but I was sure I’d need five Citrines to make this a stunner. Uh uh! Too many Citrines totally overpowered the sand dollars. So what you see is what you get: three razzmatazz Citrines lighting up a string of shy sand dollars. Enjoy!
Stone List
- Fossil Sand Dollars
- Citrines
42. Cave Bear Molar, Prehnite & Fossil Palm
Making this necklace, I was fascinated with how appealing an assemblage of oddities can be. This necklace has an overall warm honey appeal, but is strung with cave bear teeth, walrus tusks, and fossil palm interspersed between ammonites and more. It’s a lovely, interesting neutral spiced up with a frosting of white.
Stone List

43. Coral Beads & A Dazzling Drusy
All Chalcedonys are part of the quartz family, but Chalcedony Drusy’s are something special. Think of them as sprinkled with the fairy dust of thousands of particles of glittering mineral deposits. The Drusy in this necklace is particularly spectacular. You’ll love, I hope, how its slightly sunset-toned glitter sets off the warm coral beads that frame it.
Stone List
- Coral Beads
- Chalcedony Drusy
44. Orange Calcite, Jasper & Vanadinite
I nestled some sunny orange calcites next to the handsome Wulfinite and Mimetite center stone and they lit up this whole necklace. Wow, talk about a sophisticated earth tone color combo! And by the way, don’t overlook the ammonite in this piece–it has really unique, unusual markings your friends will enjoy seeing every time you put this necklace on.

45. Petite Aquamarine II: Amethyst & Rose Quartz
If you were sad to find that the darling little #31 necklace no longer available, fret not because this sweet new necklace has many of the same amethysts and pretty quartzes as the original. The big difference is the spectacular piece of aquamarine that’s front and center. It’s a beauty and will make you one, too, when you wear it.

Nature’s blue hues really do it for me–and you, too, obviously since my original Celestite necklace flew out the door the minute it was finished. This beauty is #33’s replacement and features a generous handful of the dusky blue Celestites interspersed with a variety of chalcedonies, and a pretty quartz.
