Gone but not forgotten…
The uniqueness of Mother Nature’s creations makes some of MY creations impossible to replicate, but if you see a necklace here that you can’t live without, do ask about it. Sometimes, I can tell that a necklace will be popular or one sells immediately, and I try to replace it in my inventory with another one that’s similar that I can point you to. Other times, I might have stones available or I can look for stones that will allow me to come pretty close to duplicating your heart’s desire. Bottom line: do let me know what you covet, and I’ll see what I can do. There’s no charge for a customization and no obligation to buy the finished piece if it doesn’t thrill you like the original.
5. Obsidian, Stilbite & Snakeskin Agate
Once I’d finished about 40 necklaces, I started playing a game to try an decide which one I’d wear with whatever I’d decided to wear “that day.” This necklace often came to mind. It’s an obvious choice with dressy black or black and white combos, but it really pops against brighter colors. While I can’t duplicate this necklace exactly, do check #’s 32 and 37–they’re my new black and white beauties.

6. Amber, Chrysoprase & Ammonites
This was a showstopper! Big, and warm, and wonderful, it was a bit larger than some and worked better on clothes (a fall turtleneck) than on a bare neck with lots of skin showing. The balance was better. Just FYI, in my trial wearing, I got about 40 comments from fellow shoppers at a Beverly Hills shopping center. If you covet a similar one, let me know–I have a pretty decent assortment of Amber and Chrysophrase to work with for a re-creation.

9. Rhodochrosite, Vanadinite & Amethyst
This is a necklace that will be hard to replicate exactly. I bought the centerpiece brown stone with the pink crystal, then found the fabulous piece of hot pink rodochorosite. Later, I saw the yellow and pink beauty and so on and so on. One day when I put them all together, I got this divine parti-colored necklace that literally “turns on” every outfit it’s paired with. If you’re gnashing your teeth that it’s gone, do contact me. I’ve started collecting these random colored stones whenever I see them. So, if you’re lucky, I may have gathered enough to make you something similar of your very own.

22. Aquamarine, Turquoise in Matrix & Flourite
This was the first of the aquamarine necklaces I made, and the fact that it combines the delicate aquamarines everyone is loving with the more restic aquamarine in Feldspar center-stone gave this beauty a totally different look and made it a necklace you could wear casually as well as for dress-up. I’ve made lots of other Aquamarine necklaces since this one. Check the “Aquamarines and Blues” section in SHOPPING OPTIONS to see similar necklaces available now.

27. Texas Quartz & “Hook’em Horns” Twig Pearl
My daughter’s a Longhorn and a fellow alum commissioned a necklace to wear to UT football games. What resulted is this necklace that looks good whether you’re a University of Texas alum or not. It goes to game day AND just about everywhere else. Plus, do notice the wonderful Twig pearl perfectly shaped with true “Hook ’em Horns” bravado. If you’re disappointed that this necklace is gone, check #28 below OR contact me through the “Custom Orders” section. There’s lots of Texas quartz around for me to use to make other ‘Texas” necklaces.

31. Petite Aquamarine, Amethyst & Pearl
This was the first of the smaller, daintier necklaces several smaller women who saw my collection asked for. It sold immediately and the speed of its sale confirmed that this is an area I need to develop. If you loved it, check necklace #45 which “replaced” it. And, if earth tone necklaces are in your color palate, #14 is also a much smaller necklace. Otherwise, stay tuned. I will be making more of this size necklace, and/or I’ll be glad to lay out stones and create one for you specially.

33. Celestite, Zincite & Quartz
Totally different from the smooth-stoned blue Angelite necklaces (#30), this crusted, frosty blue-grey beauty was smaller and a bit more delicate. If you like it, look at #46; it’s very similar and equally endowed with sparkly Celestites. #’s 60 and 65 are also blue and beautiful.

38. Bone Beads & Ammonite
Nature’s classic simplicity! One perfect white ammonite surrounded by beautiful cream bone beads. It sold instantly, so I replaced it with #52 which isn’t quite the same (It’s a bigger, honey-colored ammonite). If you’d like an exact dupe, just ask for it–I’ve worked hard acquiring pretty white ammonites.

41. Apophyllite, Stilbite & Pearls
I had this gorgeous big crystal tucked away for a couple of months because I just couldn’t find any other stones that really did it justice. But, when I saw these excessively baroque pearls in just the right shade of peach, I knew I had met my crystal’s match. It walked right out of a trunk show on the neck of a woman bound for foreign ports who needed some strong magic to buoy her spirits. I was lucky enough to find a similar stone for a new necklace (#57). Or, check “Creams, Crystals & Weddings” in the SHOPPING OPTIONS for other pretty crystal and pearl combos–I’ve been making lots lately!
